Meet The Owner

My name is Sally and I am the owner of Bold Untold Co. I wanted to start this business to share my personal stories through blogs and expand from there. I am a victim of Sexual, Domestic, and Psychological abuse when I was a young child for years by a family member. Through my teenage years I felt hopeless and committed self harm. Looking back, I realize now this was my silent scream for help. I have kept this story quiet and buried it deep for many years. But, I am finally ready to free myself of it. I want to empower others to share their story and to get help to recover from trauma. Your dark story doesn’t need to define you, it’s okay not to be okay, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

With my company I hope to spread positivity to everyone, to provide awareness on the impacts of trauma, to break the silence and empower you to open up & share your story, to encourage you to start the journey of healing, to support victims who’ve been through something traumatic, and to provide hope that your trauma doesn’t define you - it can get better.

As you start to read my blogs. They won’t be just about my Childhood Trauma. They will be all my personal stories and thoughts. My goal is to help at least one person through sharing my life stories, lessons I have learned, and just any simple thoughts I might have. And this isn’t limited to my childhood trauma. Some blogs will be dark and others bright.

My shop is full of an array of things. As I start to grow my small business. I want to have no limit to what I sell or my creativity. But, my ultimate goal is to have proceeds be donated to organizations that help children, victims, or any charities I am passionate about.

  • I have kept quiet for about 22 years. In 2021 I lost my Father and had my first born within the same year. Since then, there was a shift inside me that I can’t explain. But I wanted to make a difference in the world. I wanted to free myself of this burden I kept hidden. I wanted to empower and help others. I wanted to let my creative side out through my own business. But most of all, I wanted to teach my children to never live in fear. To make a change. To strive for something better. To speak up for what you believe in. That you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. I wanted to lead by example. So for me, this was my way of doing just that.

  • Naming my business was extremely difficult. I spent weeks trying to come up with something. I wanted something that was gender neutral, simple but powerful, I wanted it to speak to everyone human that has a story. Which through my years, I have learned almost everyone has a story. I had a notebook full of words I had written down and one day I put the words “Bold” & “Untold” together. It just sounded perfect. It was catchy, simple, strong, gender neutral, and so that became the name!

  • I have always been the person to talk your ear off (if you let me). When I would text - I always ended up writing a novel. So blogging seemed like the perfect fit for me.
